Bah humbug. Or at least that’s what I want to tell this wifi connection … which is making me apoplectic. Totally one of my favorite words, by the way. It just sounds as annoyed as I am. I promised a Black Friday giveaway — and you got nothing. No fair! Oops. That’s Twin A’s favorite expression, not mine. And hey, you weren’t supposed to be reading blogs working on Friday anyway!
Girlfriends, I think you’ ll agree that this was worth the wait. It’s a cyber Monday giveaway like no other! I am beyond delighted to be giving away — thanks to the incredible generosity of Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis — a free (as in, won’t cost you one red cent to attend**) admission to Design Camp in Atlanta on January 30 – February 1, 2013. Worth $1,297 smackaroos, this would be an over-the-top fabulous gift for your mom, sister, bestie, you name it.
Jam-packed with awesome speakers and events, Design Camp is a two-day seminar for design professionals or design aficionados. As Lori and Kelli put it, it’s the place for “practical, applicable, real-life design insight you don’t get from traditional institutions.” I am soooo excited to be attending myself — you already know that I love to learn from the best — and having one awesome blog reader there will be the icing on the cake! I’ve already heard that the content is fabulous, so I’m counting down the days. I will share more scoop about Design Camp in the coming days … hopefully after my wifi connection stops being so cantankerous. Which is also a word that seemed appropriate.

Design Camp was beyond fabulous in Austin! Speakers gave you real takeaways to improve your business immediately. No matter what your goals are with your Interior Design business, there is something for everyone. Lori and Kelli were very open and honest what works in the business and what does not. Even Kelli’s husband who is very successful business man had great tips to share!
