It’s that time of year again! No, no, not the time when there’s a chill in the air and Halloween costumes in the stores. Well, I guess that too but I’m talking about something else.
Can I tell you how cool I feel to be the “face” on the High Point website? Thank you, Cheminne!
High Point Market is about to open! High Point Market is like fashion week for interior designers … and I can’t wait to bring you the latest and greatest products and trends. You can be confident I’m sorting through the thousands of introductions to discover only the best pieces that you’ll want in your home — pieces that are chic, classic and able to withstand the rigors of the active lives we moms of multiples lead! FYI, this is totally more fun than Lego sorting.
Take, for example, my discoveries last market … where I was beyond honored to be the top Style Spotter, thanks to all of your “likes” and “repins” on my Style Spotter Pinterest board. Sugarboo Designs is a favorite source for art in children’s rooms and casual spaces, and this quote — which struck a cord as I thought about my hopes for my own twin boys — was repinned 532 times with 136 likes. Wow!
You can follow me and the other fall Style Spotters — including my friends Stacy Naquin and Lisa Mende — here. Of course, you know I’ll be tweeting my lil heart out and maybe, just maybe, Instagram-ing as well. I’m @tracizeller both places.
If you’ll be in High Point for market, I would beyond delighted to have you join me at a Lunch and Learn, graciously hosted by the Zaar Design Center, on Sunday, October 15 at 12 pm. The formal title of my talk is “Using Social Media to Define and Establish Your Presence as a Designer.” Of course, most of you know that I’m pretty casual about these things, so what I’m looking forward to is a really interactive session on how you can use social media, make the most of the limited time you have, and establish who you are as a designer. To paraphrase a dear friend … back to me, people!! Or in this case it’s … Back to YOU! Who are you and who do you want to be? Let’s talk!
That’s me in the spring, sitting at the Zaar Design Center next to the Art Deco Desk I style-spotted.
Will I see you there?
