it’s friday; i’m in love – leontine linens

I took the plunge and ordered some Leontine Linens.  I don’t know about you, but I always know when an investment purchase is the right thing to do when I can’t stop thinking about the object of my desire (whatever it may be).

Traci Zeller and Jane Scott Hodges at Capitol

(Yes, you also spotted my Etcetera blouse and Wyeth cardigan at the Hickory Furniture Mart.  Yes, I do have other clothes … but I was totally into this combo!)

Jane Scott Hodges, the founder of Leontine Linens, was in Charlotte to personally help her clients … and I was excited to join that list!  Can you see the gorgeous monogrammed pillow in the background?  I ordered a king matelassé coverlet (or blanket cover) and a custom 20×60 pillow sham – with an appliquéd Abigail monogram – to stretch across the bed.  I chose the color of the linen monogram and also whether or not the sham would have a flange (I chose not).  I plan to mix those new purchases with my existing dust ruffle and pillow shams — and soon I’ll have a brand new bed!

Tell me — what have you been wanting for years?  I’d love to hear about it.  Bon week-end!

Ohh nice! I'll have to forgive that you mentioned Bedside Manor instead of Isabella though ;) Teasing of course! But my dream bedding is Peacock Alley sheets (460 thread count). They feel like heaven. Ah, someday!

I love your new splurge...especially since Leontine is soon going to be making some new splurges for as well! Looks like we have been obsessing over some very similar items!
