“word to the wise” wednesday: suzanne rheinstein

There’s no point in saving up for a special occasion.  It’s more important — and more fun — to make your life attractive every single day.

Is there something you own that you shouldn’t be saving for a special occasion?

Love that quote! Thanks for visiting our blog, and glad to find yours. I vowed years ago to use what we have, heirlooms and all, and enjoy it. Cloth napkins daily, sterling anytime, good wine should go in a good glass, and I appreciate all these little details much more often.

I so agree. Love using my china, silver and crystal whenever I like rather than saving them for a special occasion...great reminder!!

Our china! It's really everyday wear but we don't use everyday, but I'm always sure to drink my coffee out of the pretty little cups and saucer. And our serving ware too - I try to break it out even just for snacks when we're hanging around the house because anything looks pretty on white serving ware.
