“word to the wise” wednesday: john willey

I don’t like fussy.  I think it’s funny when people come to my home and ask if they can put a glass on the coffee table.  Get comfortable!  It’s a home, not a museum.

    I just heard John Willey speak a few months back at the Seattle Design Center. I loved meeting him and hearing what he had to say about the design industry and his personal experiences. And by the way, still buying your N.C. peonies!!! xo

    Traci, I love love the last image, it is in my files. I wouldl ove to have a daybed floating in my family room someday. I love everything about the last image, casual and comfy and well appointed all at the same time, Kathysue

    yes! i totally agree! we've got the not-fussy thing down pat here. now we just need to be well-appointed... we're working on it!
