Isn’t this just soooo true?  After all, day care centers are functional … but who wants their home to look like a romper room?  Not that day care centers are romper rooms, but you get what I’m saying.

I love creating chic, sophisticated interiors that withstand the rigors of family life.  I can’t count the number of times people have said in reference to my own home — “Are you sure twin boys live here?”   Yes, yes, I am.  Just wait until one of them comes running around the corner with a Nerf gun in hand.  Functional, yes.  Boring and stiff, no way!
