I am practically speechless at the design of Louis Vuitton’s new Singapore store. Talk about modern, streamlined, and luxe — with only the most subtle of nautical references to pay homage to its location. Be sure to notice the mural by Ruben Toledo, and — lest you wonder — that is an underwater tunnel that connects the pavilion to the main shopping mall.
I am guessing shoppers don’t bring their kiddos … but this is one instance — unlike in my interior designs — where I’d be telling my twin boys not to breathe, much less touch anything! Can’t you picture someone jumping in the row boat?
