Perfection in design doesn’t mean that there’s one right way of doing things.  An extraordinary truth about design is that the same space can be made perfect in any number of ways, depending on who is using it and what they want.  There are absolutely no rules to creating the ideal environment other than this:  Never be meek; always make a statement.

I love Jan’s work.  For the record, her book is also one of my favorites – both for the content and the accessorizing factor.  If you own it and haven’t taken off the dust jacket, please do.  The hardcover is fabulous animal print!
