Someone somewhere — in my never-ending Facebook feed, of course — posted an amazing graphic with an inspirational quote that said something like “all the resources you need are in front of you right now.”  I flipped through hundreds of Pinterest images trying to find “the one” … only to come up empty.  Being an obsessive-compulsive-leaning sort can present a few problems.

I did, however, find dozens of other incredibly inspiring thoughts … and I pinned so many of them in a row — all on My Philosophy board — that my mom texted to ask if I was OK and “did she need to come up.”  Oops.  That’s the power of social media, peeps.  The truth for me has been that I do have everything I need — right here, right now — to “make things happen.”  Thank you, God, for putting some incredible people and resources in my life!

For my new fabric line, that resource is Trellis Studio.  Trellis Studio is committed to helping interior designers and other creatives turn their vision into textile reality.   Without the knowledge and experience of Trellis Studio guiding me in this process, I would be years and years away from ever having my own fabrics.

Now I am a mere few months away!  The “grand opening” of Traci Zeller Textiles is “scheduled” for April 1, 2013.  In the meantime, you’ll be seeing a few changes around here — including an updated logo — so that my “Traci Zeller Designs brand” reflects these new undertakings.  There’s a lot to be done between now and then … but I’m going to make it happen!

What are you making happen?

Traci, I have no doubt that your line will be hugely successful. What I think is so powerful is the social media aspect of connecting with most everyone in your circle. Go Mom. And kudos to her for keeping up with the times. Honestly, is there anything better than having your family support your endeavors? Please be sure to Tweet us when your line goes live!
